Have Rolls Royce dealerships fallen on hard times too? For the first time, I heard a local radio station advertising lease deals for a Rolls Royce - a mere $1780 a month. Does the Rolls Royce Company need to advertise – not in a fancy magazine exclusively read by the 99%, but on a local radio station now?

How perfectly disgusting!

Jeeves, remind me to sell those Phantoms in the garage.
I shall make up my mind about an alternative.

Why not there are specialized brokers advertising in the papers wanting to sell your heirloom jewellery. Very slick ads, not pawn showp style at all. All very prettily done.

Bottom line you are still selling your goodies. Some great buys if you have the cash.Whistle

The only Rolls Royce dealership in the US that I know of is in Zionsville, IN. I buy all my Rolls there. There may be more, but I am not aware of them. I cannot imagine them advertising, especially for a lease car. My goodness. If you have to ask, you probably shouldn't be shopping for one. How gauche.

The heirloom jewelry brokers are buying precious metals that are worth an all-time high price, just for the metal. The metal alone is worth more than the antique value and they will surely melt down all the rings and things that they can buy. A silver dime today is worth $2US. Makes me wish I hadn't cashed in the 5 gallon jar of silver coins I used to have by the door that caught all my pocket change for 25 years, before I took it to the bank. I couldn't lift it by myself.

If I drove a RR down the lane, I would be stoned.

Off to Singapore for a spell!
