For those who do not have the opportunity to watch this weekly program.
As an atheist, I would not miss it for anything - mainly for unorthodox views like these:

Thanks, GeorgeV... great link.

Have been searching for similar cross-cultural-religion-philosophy-etc themes...

For now: The World's Religions: Our Great Wisdom Traditions, 1958, rev. ed. 1991, HarperOne, ISBN 0-06-250811-3[6]
by Huston Smith (still required text in many intro rel. studies courses throughout the US... easy, non-biased, basic...Good Stuff!)

He taught at the University of Denver from 1944 to 1947; then at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri for the next ten years. He was then appointed professor and chair of the philosophy department at MIT from 1958 to 1973. While there, he participated in experiments with psychedelics that professors Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert (aka Ram Dass) conducted at Harvard University. He then moved to Syracuse University, where he was Thomas J. Watson Professor of Religion and Distinguished Adjunct Professor of Philosophy until his retirement in 1983 and current emeritus status. At University of California, Berkeley he was visiting professor of religious studies. ( wiki)

Thanks, GeorgeV.
Rohr is truly different and inspiring.
I hear he is a radical traditionalist!

Yes, this was very good. Brother Rohr articulates much of what I have always thought. Thank you for the link. I will read some of his writings.

Thanks for the link GeorgeV. Richard Rohr is clearly a man who is indwelt with the Holy Spirit of God and who has read his Bible. There are millions of people like that, bur Rohr has put into practice what he has read, and that makes him a special messenger of God.
