There is another, rarely used definition for aspersion that I just learned, so I figured I'd share it with the class... aspersion (noun) A sprinkling, especially with holy water. How would it be used in a sentence though? I am going to Church for my aspersion? He was baptized with an aspersion from the priest? Sounds weird. Does anyone have any insights?

I'm not Catholic, so this is more-or-less a shot in the dark. I was thinking something like: The priest engaged in his daily aspersion ritual. That sentence sounds acceptable to me, but it's also possible I am way off.
