My son's pants have a small hole.
He kept using his finger to dig the hole.
"Don't touch it. Grandma will help you sew the hole."

Does it sound natural?

Grandma will help you repair the hole.

But don't bother...having a hole in your pants is very fashionable (still).

Ripped jeans.

Saying, "Grandma will help you sew the hole" makes it sound like both of them will work on repairing the hole. If that is the case, the the suggestion given will work.

But if Grandma will do it for him, you can say it that way. "Don't make the hole larger. Grandma will sew it up for you."
