Words that rhyme with Mother Abbess for example, are:
*bes [pronounce as bɛs]
*bess [pronounce as bɛs]
*bouillabaise [pronounce as buːjəˈbɛs]

I'm not sure about the meaning of first two words but the last one sounds interesting, namely:
A highly seasoned stew made of several kinds of fish and shellfish, tomatoes, olive oil, and often saffron.

Some of them make cheese, too.

Upon receiving the news that a new convent assignment had been
issued and was awaiting Mother Superior's approval, her friend the Bishop
greeted her with a resounding, " Congratulations, dearest abbess !
You will do fine there. "

Wasn't it also slang for the madam running a brothel? - in very old literature.
But still, don't get that one wrong, it could get embarrassing.
