7am 7 am 7a.m., 7 a.m.
7AM,7 AM,7A.M., 7 A.M.

I think all the above are correct
But which one do native speakers usually use?

Thanks.

Hi!

Personally, I tend to use 7am because it's easier to type than any of the others.

I think that, if you read any "traditional grammar book" - one which explains grammar as it was "prescribed" in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries - it would probably tell you that only "7 a.m." would be acceptable.

Depending on the design of your 'virtual keyboard', that could be a long phrase to type on a mobile phone.

I have seen most of the others used in different places.
I don't like 7 am very much, because "am" is an existing word.

Thanks, DragOnspeaker.

I remember reading that 1 am looks like I am.
