a. I've almost finished interviewing the women who knew her. I haven't yet talked to her older sister; I haven't talked to her mother; and I haven't talked to one other woman who knew her.

b. I've only talked to his sister and mother. I haven't talked to one other woman who knew her.

Are both of the above grammatically correct?
Do they make sense?

In (a) the speaker has in mind a specific woman who knew her. In (b) however, the only women the speaker has talked to are his sister and and his mother.

Many thanks.

Yes, they seem grammatically correct. You could, however, combine the second two sentences into one by simply adding "but"

"Today I was a hero. I rescued some beer that was trapped in a bottle"

It is possible but not the likeliest way to say it, in my opinion.

Rather than have 'one other woman' as the subject or object, it is more natural to have an existential 'there'.

I haven't yet talked to her mother or sister. There is one other woman who knew her, but I haven't talked to her yet, either.

But the group of 'women who knew her' would normally be separate from her mother and sister. You don't 'know' members of your family, unless you are dealing with estranged relationships and 'knew' means 'understood intimately'.

So it is not one other woman, or another woman. It is just a woman who knew her.

I haven't yet talked to her mother, her sister, or to a woman who knew her.

I've yet to talk to her mother, her sister, and a woman who knew her.
