Shaka Zulu was killed by his half-brothers, Dingage & Mhlangana and an iNduna called Mbopa.
Dingage assumed power. He purged all pro-Shaka elements. Anyone he suspected of rivaling him were killed.
He was probably not quite as insane as Shaka.
