Hello all.

Is it possible to use "won´t" in the following sentences? I know it may be posible to say it many different ways but I am curious to know if using "won´t" is possible too. I think it is! Thank you!

- She usually writes down people´s names so that she won´t forget them.

- Close the window so that they won´t hear it.

Yes! Using "won't " that way is perfectly normal.

Be aware, though, that only the contracted form is used for this purpose. Saying "will not " instead of "won't " would sound very strange.
