Synonyms: ailing, peaked, poorly, under the weather, unwell, sickly, seedy

Usage: The princess is indisposed and has cancelled her engagements for the week to allow herself time to recuperate.

If you say that someone is indisposed, you mean that they are not available because they are ill, or for a reason that you do not want to reveal.

Yes, depending on the circumstances, if you ask to see someone and are told the are 'indisposed' then mostly likely they are on the loo, passed out drunk, or simply don't like you. Whistle
