- A bribe or extorted money, usually relatively small in amount, provided to a low-level government official or business person, in order to expedite a business decision, shipment, or other transaction, especially in a country where such payments are not unusual.
- Unfortunately, I've seen this thing happening too much in my sight. As the nature of my work, many times I was exposed and offered to participate in such lower actions. I refused all of them and, in some situations, I was roughly rebuked. Nowadays in Brazil, we are facing and seeing new times are going on and I have a fresh hope that all this is going to meet an end here.
