PS: Where can I find the quote? Why in these "Quotes of the Day" there isn't the exact point of the book where the quote can be found? It would be useful in order to control (for instance, in the original language) and to report.
Otherwise, the well-known definition of A. Bierce, "Quotation, n.: the act of repeating erroneously the words of another." comes easily true.
