Researchers have discovered another coral reef off Western Australia.

The have named it Ningaloo and it seems to be in relatively good condition, the Indian Ocean appears to be less affected than the

Great Barrier Reef from the warn ocean temperatures of the Pacific and to some extent, the cyclonic storms.

The discovery is great, Tov. And so are the robots they have now to go down deeper than humans safely can go. We watched a documentary about the robots they have that look like sea creatures in the area where they are placed. They follow and film the creatures as they go about their daily lives and get lots of info about the species that we wouldn't have otherwise. The odd time their adventures become disastrous for them! Like one female fell in love with the robot and it had to escape or another was destroyed as a larger creature tried to eat it. They are that real looking.

Thanks for posting this news about coral reefs that is good for a change.

I was waiting expectantly for any discoveries by the joint Militaries searching for the downed Malaysian passenger plane in the Indian Ocean, that search has now been called

off after over 12 months of searching.

I dont know if this reef is a find by those underwater robots?
