That damned search problem continues to frustrate me.

I just tried it, and watched it show "waiting for tfd …" for what seemed an unconscionably long time before culminating in the infamous "an error has occured [sic] …" message. After four successive failures, the fifth time was the charm, and I finally got to see what I had been waiting to see.

Usually I only have to try two or three times; once in a while it even works on the first try.

The problem seems to have been solved.

I waited a couple of days before posting this, lest my joy prove premature. But so far, so good.

Thank you!

Today we published the fix, which should eliminate any problems with Forum Search. It also works much faster now. Try it out and let me know if you have any problems. Happy New Year to everyone!

Sorry for posting something completely irrelevant to the topic, but this is the only way for me to communicate on the forum.

I'm currently unable to use the "new topic" or "add reply" button. Every time I click on either one of them, in any sub-forum, I got redirected to my user profile. If I quote another member in an existing thread, then I can post a reply like normal, but this really limit what I can do on the forum.

I've PM-ed Mike-KS yesterday, but haven't received any reply, so I figure I should post this somewhere in case my message wasn't sent.

You would be better off sending a message to Maria KS:

She's a nice lady. she'll reply.

Just checked her forum profile. Said she's only been a member since 13/12/17, and doesn't hold the administrator title. You aren't pulling my leg, are you?

In Japan, it's already 2018.
