Yes, good on ya. I hope everyone just accepts it now. If there was some nasty campaigning, it might take a while. But eventually the people who are against it will realise it has no effect on their lives at all and they can just get on with it.
Church is still a holdout, it seems? At least not exactly welcoming. I know, principles is principles, yada yada. But maybe they should read Bishop Agnes' letter (in translation Whistle ) and remember what principles they are supposed to for!
