Hello respected teachers,

The most popular method in the United Kingdom, like in Sweden, is burying which contributes 82%.

Is the colored part correct and in the right position?
Is 'like' a conjunction?

I am looking forward to your answers.

That use of "like" as a conjunction is popular, but to us purists it isn't right.

I'd very much prefer "as in Sweden".

Agree. "Like" in that sentence is grating.
