When walking down the street (on a sidewalk), one must keep a sharp lookout for thugs who want to harm one, for dogs that want to bite one, for bicyclists who may knock one down, and for drivers who may run one down when one is trying to cross the street.

No wonder many people feel that driving is safer than walking in a large city!

Some people just walk around inside a shopping mall. But even there, one must keep a sharp lookout for dangerous human beings.

The danger in my walking the mall is that I will buy something. 😀 How do I keep a sharp lookout for that? 😀

Equality is when you see a person - not a label.

I am half an idiot, so I find that quotation quite consoling.
