Pedro, you mean the Dog Chapel?

It's a heavenly place for dogs and their people.
If you own a dog or have ever loved a dog, put Stephen Huneck's Dog Chapel in St. Johnsbury, Vermont,
at the top of your list of places to visit in New England.

Take your dog along if you can.
Whether or not you make your pup sit in a pew, his prayers will be answered when he discovers the nature trails, swimming ponds and other delights of the 400 scenic acres that surround the chapel on Dog Mountain.Dancing

Almostfreebird, couldn't see your picture. I guess a registered account is needed.

Petäjävesi Old Church is a Lutheran church in central Finland. It was built of logs between 1763 and 1765, and stands as a outstanding example of a country church in eastern Scandinavia. The architectural style is a combination of the Renaissance conception with older forms derived from the Gothic.

The church of Petäjävesi was built for the congregation of Jämsä. Due to the distance to Jämsä, Petäjävesi was allowed to have its own cemetery. The church of Petäjävesi has a cross-type floor plan which is typical of churches in Scandinavia in the late 17th century.

The Old Church of Petäjävesi has a charming square tower made of wood and topped with a sphire. It has a two tier tiled roof.

Petäjävesi Old Church was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site during the 18th session of the World Heritage Committee which met in Phuket, Thailand, on 12 - 17 December, 1994.

I love the pictures of all the old churches. I think they inspire in me a feeling of ascent like pigeons in a bell tower.

JJ already posted a picture of the exterior of the Hagia Sophia, back in 2011.
However the interior is amazing too.
The 'Church of the Holy Wisdom' is in Constantinople, Istanbul, Turkey.
Built as a Christian (Greek Orthodox) church in the fourth century, destroyed and rebuilt twice, then captured and made into a Catholic cathedral in the 13th century,
then back to the Greeks for two hundred years until the Ottomans arrived.
Sultan Mehmet II, the emperor, saved the building from destruction and rededicated it as a mosque, which it remained until 1935, when President Atatürk decreed that it
should be a museum (though there is a small chapel used for both Christian and Moslem services inside.
As such it is a symbol of religious tolerance, despite the warlike periods in its history.

This is supposed to be the “Holy house” of Mary who was airlifted from Nazareth, and landed in Croatia.
