I work in the semiconductor industry. The highlight is that it never stagnates because it's always evolving. There is constant competition between manufacturers to be the best, produce the best quality at the lowest price, etc.
In fact, my company is paying for me to take college courses that will help me be eligible for promotion. We have sites worldwide and partnerships with some of the biggest companies in the world.
