In German the phrase ‘Schwein haben’ has the same meaning as ‘Glück haben'. This translate as ‘to be lucky’ in English.

When Vice President Al Gore (the man who invented the internet!) was visiting Germany in 1997, Chancellor Helmut Kohl asked him if he had already met his Environment Minister Angela Merkel.

Now Gore, who already knew some German language before arriving, was feeling rather confident as usual so he answered Kohl with:

"Nein, das Schwein hab ich noch nicht gehabt”.
