My friends I am trying to search for certain words when writing that shorten the sentence and make the reader look up the word, and make the sentence make sense and shorter? Is that possible? Like each paragraph has one subject and predicate? I am not trying to change the rules of writing, but just to create my style of writing? After knowing the way I write can, anyone tell me what style I can use for me? Writer-One

I think you are searching for something that does not exist, Paul. Every reader is different. Some may never need to look up any of the words you decide to use. And every sentence is different. It may not be possible to shorten it, or improve it, by inserting or substituting a word. You have already developed your own style of writing, Paul. It will change, possibly without you even noticing it, as you go along and as you allow yourself to be influenced by other writers.

I remember, therefore I am.
