I totally agree. One can sense vibes from one's true friends - and such friends can't be many. And the really true ones are those who you remember after their demise and the converse too - but then you won't be there to feel the love and happiness they had given you.

The "weighted" in the quote means "valued".

If ever weighed, friends should not be weighted unfairly or else the additional weight will burden the friendship.
