Mistake found in Spelling Bee game Options

If in the Spelling Bee game the vocal pronunciation of the word señorita(Spanish for Miss) is the same as if the person was speaking in Spanish; then Why when we write it "señorita" and not "senorita" are we wrong?

The English alphabet does not have the letter ñ.
