The smug prime minister of X (where both English and French are official languages) has been severely criticizing the president of Y for trying to stop illegal immigration.

Well, guess what! (I'm sure you already have.)

According to Fox News (the only fair-minded TV news medium in the United States), the smug prime minister of X (which is directly north of Y) has just made an announcement to this effect:

"We in X love immigrants and will continue to do so. But please, please, please, come here legally! We are being overwhelmed by you guys!"

As you young people say: LOL!

Here's my example of smug -

After being reminded several times that Politics belong in the Politics sub forum, to continue to put politics in a "daily feed" sub forum so that those who respect the rules of the forum are not allowed to respond is a dirty smug below-the-belt trick inspired by jealousy... (especially since the first statement/premise is incorrect Liar Liar Liar )

Edited - To hold grudges and not read what people respond is the smuggest of all, as well as being immature.

:::::

Plus - Anyone interested in the Politics of that post should get the facts from somewhere besides Fox News as they are annoyed with Canada's PM Trudeau because he corrected an error they made. (And check out the title of the cover of the Rolling Stone magazine with Trudeau to explain my jealousy comment. Lol - as we old Canadians who keep up with the times say. )

BTW Parser - to help with your geography, the country north of the USA with two official languages is called Canada and to you X is respectfully The Very Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister. (With Honourable spelled correctly.)

World food shortage that threatens five hundred million children could be alleviated at the cost of one day's warfare.
