Talking about texts that are concise and "religious" here is a hundred years old document that in my view is one of the best writings, ever, 12 pages of gold:

The text comes from a book that I bought years ago, the publisher printed a low-quality facsimile hard to read, so, to pay tribute to the author I scanned, spell-checked and proofed it.

Whenever I encounter some person with a "firm belief" I ask for some resource that holds the ideas in a written form.
It is quite common there is no such condensed writings that captivate the tons of narratives. The above writing of the Dutchman Henri Borel is an exception, to me, he managed to present successfully such a hard to describe theme as what is Dao about in simple wording.

My point, if someone cannot explain a given matter in a simple manner, most likely he/she doesn't know the subject enough.

Henri Jean François (Henri) Borel

He learns not to learn and reverts to what all men pass by.
