Yeah. Though reason has double power when it comes hand in hand with feeling... They aren't enemies of each other, but rather the couple - which can't exist without each other.

A feeling is a feeling. No matter how much reason you apply, a feeling always remains.

Emotions fade, shift, and change with circumstances, while logic and reason remain steady, changing with facts. To be ruled by emotions is to be whip-sawed from one problem to another. Fools are ruled by passion, but the wise are ruled by reason.

Reason is powerless over feeling, at least in part, because feeling can make use of reason such as to validate itself.
Once the latter is used according to what the former overwhelmingly feels, subjectively that is,
feeling is master, reason an obedient servant happy to prove the feeling right.

Conversely, feeling may give in to reason, under the best circumstances go away, but cannot justify nor confirm it
because it is a non co-operative brute.
