I am going to make up a sentence.

(ex) One of the products invented by John made it into the international market.

Can you say "made it into"? Thanks.

Yes, you can. The expression "made it into" means ""made its way into". The meaning of of the entire phrase "made it into the international market" is "was successful in making its way into the international market". It is usually used to convey the sense that the way to international market was difficult but was finally achieved.

The phrase "to make it" in English can be used as another way of saying 'arrived' or 'achieved'.

"We're running late: we'll never make it to London now." (We'll never arrive in/get to London now.)
"Hurrah! We finally made it into the Guinness Book of Records." (We finally achieved a place in the Guinness Book of Records)

It is often followed by 'to/into' : "We can make it to the bus stop if we run." "We can make it into that empty carriage John is in, if the guard will wait for us." Though that isn't a 'rule', it depends on context: "We can make it if we hurry." "We'll make it with 5 minutes to spare"

It's used as a greeting too: you're expecting guests. They're late. The doorbell rings, you open it and there they are: "We made it!" they cry out when they see you. Or "Bet you thought we were never going to make it!"
