The article title is incorrect not all of those are cities, Crapstone I know is a small village.
This is a list of funny and rude place names in the UK.

There used to be a place in Bedfordshire called Shittington that was a centre for Coprolite mining, fossiled dinosaur droppings, that were used in the chemical industry. However the story goes that Queen Victoria came for a visit and in order not to offend her they changed the Ts in Ls so now it is called Shillington. It still sometimes pops up on lists of rude places names even though the old name no longer is used.

I lack the imagination for a witty signature.

Well, I grew up in a town east of the Sierras in the SF bay area that was called Slusher's Gulch, since re-named to the more respectable Walnut Creek.
