Knee Pain Prevention Options

Warm up
Strengthen the knee muscles with exercises
Maintain appropriate weight
Take proper rest and have sound sleep
Wear proper shoes

Any more suggestions?

My father looks overweight at least in the last 20 years (he's 62 y.o now). I have never seen him doing any exercises or playing any sports all of my life.
I never seen him has any knee problems.
My rough guess is it's because of our daily rituals (praying). There are movements, ups and downs in our praying ritual. Very simple but imagine doing that every day for 50 years.

Some may laugh at our ritual, it's okay.
