Help wanted! "decoding french sentences" Options

Hi everybody,

I don't know french and I'm trying to "decode" the french sentences appearing in the following pictures (where "?" stands for unknown/illegible words to me):

My guess: "? ? que f2 est une function periodique, de periode X. ? jeut donc calculer la summe entre 0 et X, ? ? 2n fais la summe entre 0 et X"

1 - On sait ( one knows ) 1a - On peut 1c - qui donnera ( which will give/produce/yield)
2 - On peut ( one can )
3 - cause
4 - No idea
5 - dernieres ( last/previous ) 5a - on ( one )
6 - ci-dessous ( below ) 6a - tout ( all )
7 - just 'ca', I think.
8 - si je n'ai pas fait d'erreurs ( if I am not mistaken ) 8a - divisions ? ( not sure, not a math guy )
9 - le developpement limite envoisinage (?) de X donnerait alors ( the limited development of the relationship of X will therefore give/yield/produce - I think that's close )
10 - le calcul pedestre (?) peut etre fait depuis ( don't know ) pour s=1 on retrouve bien - sorry, can't translate that one.

On sait que f2 est une fonction périodique, de période π/k. On peut donc calculer la somme entre 2nπ/k, qui donnera 2n fois la somme entre 0 et π/k.
Just curious: why are you trying to decypher French sentences about maths, especially if you don't speak French?

My contribution : In my opinion, number 4 should be read as : "Or, d'après Maple V" - Or is a conjunction which means : BUT, AND YET

I propose : "But, according to Maple V…"
