English and American literature has been translated into many languages. The fact is that this is a job for both talented and hard-working people. I wonder if there are any translators that you really appreciate. As far as English-Polish translators are concerned, I believe that such people as Stanisław Barańczak, Wojsław Brydak and Lech Jęczmyk are worth mentioning.

Praise for Marlaine Delargy who translates Swedish author Asa Larsson's terrific crime novels, and Bernard Scudder and Victoria Cribb, translators for Icelandic author Arnaldur Indridason. Not to be missed.
