Happy Birthday IdaGama!

Jar of Hearts is a beautiful song - hope you had a lovely day.

The Waiting is the hardest part
Every day you see one more card
You take it on faith, you take it to the heart
The Waiting is the hardest part

The Waiting >> Tom Petty

I live in my own little world, but it's OK - they know me here...

And woman hold me close to your heart
However distant don't keep us apart

On that starry, starry night
You took your life, as lovers often do
But I could've told you Vincent
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you

you're beautiful, it's true
I saw your face
In a crowded place
and I don't know what to do
'cos I'll never be with you.

...and if I could find the place,
would I recognize the face...

or

...and if I could find the face,
would I recognize the place...

(sorry, but can't find the correct lyrics, song, artist -- but can clearly hear the melody in my mind)
(maybe someone can edit)

no, I tried everthing too but couldn't find what you were looking for, so just posted some lyrics that tied in with ClubFavolosa's post. Keep on looking, and singing it to everone you meet - someone will know your song.......

I found this---

"You're Beautiful"

My life is brilliant.

My life is brilliant.
My love is pure.
I saw an angel.
Of that I'm sure.
She smiled at me on the subway.
She was with another man.
But I won't lose no sleep on that,
'Cause I've got a plan.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

Yeah, she caught my eye,
As we walked on by.
She could see from my face that I was,
Flying high, [ - video/radio edited version]
Fucking high, [ - CD version]
And I don't think that I'll see her again,
But we shared a moment that will last till the end.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

You're beautiful. You're beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.
There must be an angel with a smile on her face,
When she thought up that I should be with you.
But it's time to face the truth,
I will never be with you.

Any time of the year, don't you hear?
Spending cash; talking trash.
I'll show you a real good time;
Come on with me and leave your troubles behind.
I don't care where you've been,
You aint been nowhere till you been in---
With the in crowd.

I took a bit of license with the above song.

The juxtaposition of such a sweet song entitled, On The Sunny Side Of The Street, with a youtube video created to the instrumental version of Bruce Springsteen's, Streets of Philadelphia and the last scene from Charlie Chaplin's, The Great Dictator was, to me, genius. But that is only me. Oh, and I added an 's.'

Charlie Chaplin's--The Great Dictator set to Bruce Springsteen's--Streets of Phildelphia = Lost the Way. Created by NewMad1990.

We think to much
We feel to little
We all want to help
one another........
We have lost the way,
lost the way.........

peace out, >^,,^<
