Huh? OK Ruby but "Adieu" is a final statement, and of course it refers to the surfers demise...and the final destruction of the "idyllic" image...
and ...as I said, It is an offhand dig at the churlish spat between WC and Kiker..who were both guiltty of taking themselves altogether a far TOO seriously!!! Or as is the local vernacular here..."They were all just a bit too Precious!"......

His body broken, chomped and dead
what a nasty way to go.

Peachy picture paradise can

The ghostly copter crashed to sea
a victim of this strange curse.
The crimson waves lapped over it
the bodies within were trapped

each one a Squaleen's snack
An ocean liner came slowly into view
oblivious of whats ahead
All were partying in the Year anew

An iceberg loomed across its bow
global warming was the cause

Great Sharks from every quarter came
Giant squid, stingrays and all
The lifeboats tipped, its such a shame
none to hear their helpless call
A terrible tale to be true
