"The Project Engineering Manager in CBI Plainfield office, reports to the Project Director. "
Who is kind enough to tell me what "CBI" might refers to here, and what the phrase "report to" mean? report to=subordinate? Thanks!

Hi 3unorchid,

The person one reports to is one's boss. In this case the Project Engineering Manager's boss is the Project Director.

I would suspect CBI has something to do with the name of the business or the identification of a division (one administrative part) of the business.
