Saints of the Narrow Way are followers of the Lord Jesus Christ who in renouncing the world, the flesh, and the devil, are completely forgiven of their sins which are covered forever by the blood of Christ.

A.What I'm doing here is listing the three KJV Bible verses where the word SAINT is used five times:

Psalm 106:16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

Daniel 8:13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Philippians 4:21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

B. What I'm doing now is mentioning that the plural, SAINTS, is used 96 times in 95 verses of the KJV Bible.

eg. Jude 1:3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

C. I am now explaining what is meant by the the word SAINT, which is the same as “sanctified one.”

Outside the Gospels, where the term “disciples” is used, it is the common word to designate the followers of Jesus, occurring some 56 times.

By “saint” is not meant the morally perfect, but the one who belongs to Christ, just as the sanctified priest or offering belonged to Yahweh. With the gift of sanctification through the shed blood of Christ, and therefore sainthood, comes the task of being sanctified, which is a life's work.

Quote:

2Corinthians 6:17-7:1
(17) Wherefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
(18) And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
(7:1) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Right now there are Saints of the Narrow Way praying and interceding for captive souls to be saved and sanctified.

Quote:

Matthew 7:13-14
(13)Enter you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
(14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it.

Because it is the KJB and King James had the bible rewritten to suit himself and his beliefs the word saint is a "new" word.

It has been mistranslated from the old testament as there were no saints only "good or holy" men. I could find nothing under the title of "Saints of the Narrow Way" save for what you wrote. I did find other messages which to refer to the two lines in Matthew. I also found this and I shall place it here.

There are a couple of more but they aren't as cherry-picked as "Saints of the Narrow Way."

saint
early 12c., from O.Fr. seinte, altering O.E. sanct, both from L. sanctus "holy, consecrated" (used as a noun in L.L.), prop. pp. of sancire "consecrate" (see sacred). Adopted into most Germanic languages (cf. O.Fris. sankt, Du. sint, Ger. Sanct). Originally an adj. prefixed to the name of a canonized person; by c.1300 it came to be regarded as a noun.

Saint - A dead sinner revised and edited. The Duchess of Orleans relates that the irreverent old calumniator, Marshal Villeroi, who in his youth had known St. Francis de Sales, said, on hearing him called saint: 'I am delighted to hear that Monsieur de Sales is a saint. He was fond of saying indelicate things, and used to cheat at cards. In other respects he was a perfect gentleman, though a fool.' [Ambrose Bierce, "Devil's Dictionary," 1911]

Meaning "person of extraordinary holiness" is recorded from 1563. The verb meaning "to enroll (someone) among the saints" is attested from late 14c. Applied widely to living things, diseases, objects and phenomena, e.g. Saint Bernard, the breed of mastiff dogs (1839), so called because they were used by the monks of the hospice of the pass of St. Bernard (between Italy and Switzerland) to rescue snowbound travelers; St. Elmo's Fire "corposant" (1560s) is from It. fuoco di Sant'Elmo, named for the patron saint of Mediterranean sailors, a corruption of the name of St. Erasmus, an Italian bishop martyred in 303. <<<<< www.etymonline.com

EXPAND4. (in certain religious groups) a designation applied by the members to themselves.
COLLAPSE–verb (used with object)
5. to enroll formally among the saints recognized by the Church.
6. to give the name of saint to; reckon as a saint.

Origin:
before 1000; Middle English (noun and v.) < Old French (noun) < Latin sānctus sacred, adj. use of past participle of sancīre to consecrate, equivalent to sanc- (akin to sacer sacred) + -tus past participle suffix; replacing Old English sanct < Latin, as above

From H6942; sacred (ceremonially or morally); (as noun) God (by eminence), an angel, a saint, a sanctuary: - holy (One), saint.

Likewise correctly translated from the New Testament Greek and referenced in Strong's:

From ἅγος hagos (an awful thing) compare G53, [H2282]; sacred (physically pure, morally blameless or religious, ceremonially consecrated): - (most) holy (one, thing), saint.

"Are you not a Saint of the Narrow Way?" he asked his fellow traveller who had showed surprise at his devotion to matters biblical.

"Is anyone these days?", was the traveller's reply.

"Oh there are some who so walk", replied Michael with a knowing twinkle in his eye.
