When I realized that I had lost my wallet on the streets of Manhattan, I was panic-stricken.

When a man in a van followed me as I was walking home one night and then tried to proposition me, I was panic-stricken.

When a metal-edged laundry basket knocked me in the teeth and I was unsure if any had been broken, I was beyond panic-stricken.

Why do my teeth matter more to me than anything else? Think

Because thankfully the basket did not hit you down the waist.

I've been to the dentist lately. $1500 for a root canal and to build up just one tooth. A lot more than I ever carry in my wallet.
