little donny's history is about to get in his face.

Regarding Jeffrey Epstein...

So remember that 2018 BBC documentary alleging Trump preyed on underage models?

https://www.dailykos.com/stories/2019/7/8/1870274/-So-remember-that-2018-BBC-documentary-alleging-Trump-preyed-on-underage-models?utm_campaign=trending

Quote:
"I've known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He's a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side." - Donald Trump, 2002

Quote:
"Trump’s behavior toward younger women was described by a man who attended the same parties as like that of a "predator."

One of the women, Barbara Pilling, said she met Trump at a party in New York in the late 1980s while she was a young model. She alleged that then-businessman Trump asked her how old she was and approved when she said she was 17, allegedly responding: "Oh, great. So you're not too old and not too young. That's just great."

Pilling said she was not the youngest girl at the party, claiming there were girls as young as 14 attending. "I felt I was in the presence of a shark," Pilling said, describing Trump."

Quote:
""These were guys who could easily be [the models'] fathers — two times over. [It was] kind of like a feeding frenzy," he said.

Trump, in particular, was "notorious" for his behavior toward younger women, the man said. "This guy was like a predator in action. The next day or days after we would hear about it, he would brag about it to his friends and it would get around that he scored. Maybe one or two girls at a time, which is what he loved to do.""

Oscar,

This is speculation and smoke so far. If there is any fire I hope it will come out shortly. And if there is truth to it, I hope it is dealt with properly and not swept under the rug as have all Trump's known underhanded actions - before he starts a war with Iran. His people are already calling for allies to help - I surely hope peacekeeping Canada does not feel it has to get involved. We have not been treated as an ally by Trump. Nor have any of his traditional allies.

So maybe his new found friends should be the ones to step up now he wants help to share the cost of people and money to police a situation he created all by himself by tearing up a diplomatic agreement that was working.

Jeffrey Epstein Was a ‘Terrific Guy,’ Donald Trump Once Said. Now He’s ‘Not a Fan.’
https://www.nytimes.com/2019/07/09/us/politics/trump-epstein.html

Quote:
It was supposed to be an exclusive party at Mar-a-Lago, Donald J. Trump’s members-only club in Palm Beach, Fla. But other than the two dozen or so women flown in to provide the entertainment, the only guests were Mr. Trump and Jeffrey Epstein.

The year was 1992 and the event was a “calendar girl” competition, something that George Houraney, a Florida-based businessman who ran American Dream Enterprise, had organized at Mr. Trump’s request.

“I arranged to have some contestants fly in,” Mr. Houraney recalled in an interview on Monday. “At the very first party, I said, ‘Who’s coming tonight? I have 28 girls coming.’ It was him and Epstein.”

Mr. Houraney, who had just partnered with Mr. Trump to host events at his casinos, said he was surprised. “I said, ‘Donald, this is supposed to be a party with V.I.P.s. You’re telling me it’s you and Epstein?’”

Little donny said re. Epstein "that he "knew him like everybody in Palm Beach knew him." But Mr. Trump added: "I had a falling-out with him. I haven’t spoken to him in 15 years. I was not a fan of his, that I can tell you."

Reality looks a bit different.

Trump and Epstein Partied and Commented on Women in 1992 Video

In the video, little donny grabs a woman, pulls her towards him and then cops a feel on her ass. little donny seems to go out of his way to try to impress Epstein.

Donald Trump to Howard Stern: It's okay to call my daughter a 'piece of ass'

Little donny replies "She's voluptuous."

Here's the creepy video of Donald Trump saying he'd date his own daughter

https://splinternews.com/heres-the-creepy-video-of-donald-trump-saying-hed-date-1793849666

"I don't think Ivanka would do that [pose for nude photographs] inside the magazine," Trump says, speaking for his daughter. "Although she does have a very nice figure. I've said that if Ivanka weren't my daughter, perhaps, I would be dating her."

And then, as the words he had just spoken formed meaning in his mind, Trump asked: "Is that terrible?"

The whole world knows that Trump is amoral and it appears that this makes no difference to his supporters: they'll excuse him, others will puff & blow and express outrage, everyone else will shrug and say nothing because they've gone totally numb as drama piles on drama.

And in the middle of all the salacious scandals the President of the United States of America is quietly given a reward for stamping his feet and having a tantrum: over two billion to shut him up over his "Wall".

Whatever else of this turbulent time goes down in the history books our children and grandchildren read at school, this will be a date that marks the day the USA finally blew their position in the world.

While horrified people everywhere watch videos of the camps in which tiny babies and children wail and cry, huddled on concrete floors in scenes no-one has ever before seen in a First World country, a narcissistic thug is given money to go away and play.

No money to train people? Or build facilities in line with the World-wide Rights of Children? Or employ extra staff? Or build latrines & bathrooms? Too strapped for cash to provide clothing, blankets, health-care, or toothbrushes? No fresh air or clean water or excercise?

But a sop of over two billion goes to The President to distract him from stirring up yet more war?

Jeez, guys.

Precisely, Romany!

As for Epstein, that news has been overshadowed by Mueller - for now anyhow.

Democrats are trying to stop Trump but "Moscow Mitch" as he is being called, is in charge of the senate. As for the Mueller investigation broadcast for the public, some people wanted the "reality" TV garbage show to which they have become accustomed recently by Trump and were disappointed when they got truth they need to face instead. It's a real shame that both the Republican politicians and their public supporters are so partisan that they cannot come together to fight a common enemy with the Democrats but "shoot the messenger" instead.

Nadler's questions summed it all up in 5 minutes. Trump is guilty of obstruction but Mueller determined they had to use the OLC opinion that a sitting president cannot be indicted. Perhaps the US should consider changing this because it puts the president above the law.

https://youtu.be/rMsmGrlv060

It is still a mystery as to why Trump so publicly tried to obstruct the investigation in so many ways If he was not afraid of something he is guilty of being exposed.

It's difficult to understand how so many people can be so gullible and naive, believing any lie delivered to them that they choose to believe.

From the press conference of Rod Rosenstein, 2/16/2018, Quote:

"ROSENSTEIN: Again, there's no allegation in this indictment that any American had any knowledge. And the nature of the scheme was the defendants took extraordinary steps to make it appear that they were ordinary American political activists, even going so far as to base their activities on a virtual private network here in the United States so, if anybody traced it back to that first jump, they appeared to be Americans." [Emphasis mine]

No Americans were involved in any conspiracy or collusion. No voting machines were hacked by any Russians. Not a single vote was changed by any Russians. They simply tried to influence our election, and failed - period.

But stupid is as stupid does (e.g., Nadler, Shift, Hirono, Swalwell, AOC, et al.) - Forrest Gump.

In the last post when I said "common enemy" I actually was talking about the interference by Russia in the last US election, at least, and the blocking of remediation of the situation by the Republicans. But I thought perhaps I should clarify, as some may think I was talking about Trump. Many, including Americans, regard him as the number one enemy of the US. (And G20.) And Trump with his attacks on the press, especially women and non white women journalists, seems to be trying to stop them from reporting things he does not like.

As well, there are protests going on in Russia against Putin right now and I have heard that since most journalists are going, gone, or (made) dead there that often news such as this does not get reported. Wiki "It is estimated that 21 journalists have been killed since Russian President Vladimir Putin came to power in March 2000. In the great majority of cases, no one has been convicted and sentenced for the murders."

The US was voted the 5th most dangerous country (Russia used to be number three) in the world for journalists and 10th for women. With homicide and mass shootings nearly every day I'd be interested in the safety stats for all Americans. https://time.com/5483773/us-deadliest-countries-journalists-deaths-2018/
https://www.indexoncensorship.org/2018/09/russia-journalists-leaving-country/

BTW, not only is Russia interfering in the Canadian election set for October, but so is the US. Both are all over social media and the US has also been using the Canadian media for several years. A US Republican hedgefund owns a large press syndicate (sold to them by our PM Reform Party pretend Conservatives), Conservative think tanks take American Conservative money, and abortion companies send individuals to Canada's streets. A crude propaganda anti abortion movie from FL was brought to Canadian cinema by Canadian Conservatives who like American help to spread their propaganda. Hate crime and a general nasty tone is increasing in Canada. I suppose they were always here but knew to stay quiet back then. Not now. It started with PM Harper and exploded since it became fashionable in the US.

:::::

Edited - did not see FD"s post till after I posted the above.

Mueller did not say there was collusion as that is not a legal term. He did not say conspiracy by Trump but many of his team are in jail or indicted and we know for a fact that Trump Jr wanted dirt on Hillary, there was at least one meeting with Russians (Trump Tower Meeting as it is called) and his father tried to cover that fact up. (My interpretation only - But since they got nothing of value it was not conspiracy - the legal term - but only intent.) Nobody knows how much the attack swayed the public. The illegal Wikileaks that released even some doctored emails of Hillary was adored by Trump as was evident in several of his tweets. Mueller said that itself should be investigated.

However, Mueller did say Trump was NOT exonerated of Obstruction of Justice and was not indicted because the indictment of a sitting president is not done because of an OLC opinion. It goes through an impeachment process instead.

It is amazing how some people continue to naively defend Trump, ignoring the obvious blatant public attempts to subvert the justice system for his own purposes.

I found these links in support of my above statements re election interference.

https://www.vox.com/world/2017/6/13/15791744/russia-election-39-states-hack-putin-trump-sessions

Mitch McConnell, senate leader (dictator powers) who decides what the senate will vote on, and Trump are actively fighting any attempts by the Democrats, while trying to protect national security, to prevent Russia from interfering in any way in 2020 election. The next attack could be far worse if they succeed. And it was determined by Mueller that the goal was to help Trump in last election so I guess Repubs still want all the help they can get.

Countries are, and always have, tried to influence one another in their elections. That doesn't mean they are successful at it. Sometimes they may be, but there is absolutely NO evidence that anyone has, or could, influence any of our elections. They are too diverse and too scattered. No one could hack into every precinct in America. It's impossible.

And there is absolutely NO evidence anyone colluded or conspired with anyone in another country to do that either. It's a childish Democrat fantasy/delusion derived from the inability to accept losing an election.

FD, Why are you refuting a second time something neither I nor anything printed on the links provided said was true?!

In fact the articles pointed out that the only actual interference was in the swaying or cementing of minds, that for some reason, although the capability was there by Russia, they did not gain access to the actual voting apparatus.

What you did not address was the most important - the blocking of attempts to prevent future attacks. And the obstruction of justice claims. Mueller admitted that Trump had tried to have Mueller himself fired from doing the investigation in which the main focus was on Russian interference. If Trump had kept his mouth shut and not tried to obstruct, people would probably not have thought he was involved.

Oscar, With apologies re Epstein-Barr news which I'm sure will be revived in the news soon. I judged to continue the digression here rather than start a new thread.

I don't usually read Vinay Menon's articles in the Toronto Star, but the headline in large print re Mueller got me this morning and I just read it. He echoes my basic thoughts but expresses them much much better. The article nailed what is wrong when it also titled "Fixation on Spectacle Is Exactly What's Wrong".

https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/analysis/2019/07/26/robert-mueller-gave-the-facts-about-donald-trump-but-the-media-wanted-a-song-and-dance.html

"As a true American hero, Robert Mueller deserves better than to be judged by the wretched reality-show standards that now define modern politics.

But before his testimony on Wednesday, much of the media acted as if the special counsel was about to star in a special crossover episode of Survivor and The Bachelor. Could he outwit, outlast and outplay his interrogators? Would he give his final rose to the Democrats? Would he deliver shocking lines that would leave viewers around the world on the edge of their seats?
Mueller was cast in a role he had no intention of playing.

And, tellingly, what he actually said was lost in a style-over-substance fog as the media quickly turned into one big TV critic to condemn the star of this one-man show as “underwhelming,” “doddering,” “frail” and “unpolished.”
Mueller is no leading man! Zero stars and no thumbs up!

NBC’s Chuck Todd accidentally revealed the real danger of political coverage in this age of entertainment when he tweeted: “On substance, Democrats got what they wanted: that Mueller didn’t charge Pres. Trump because of the OLC guidance, that he could be indicted after he leaves office, among other things. But on optics, this was a disaster.”
Optics? Disaster? Really? A decorated Marine, former head of the FBI and leader of an exhaustive investigation concluded that Russia helped Trump win the 2016 election with the approval of his campaign — and that Moscow is still meddling now — but instead of heeding this alarm bell we should rip him to shreds for failing to produce sound bites and boffo ratings and jaw-dropping moments?
The attacks on Mueller from across the political spectrum was something to behold. Conservative gadfly and all-around kook Mark Levin told Fox News, ominously, “Look, I’ve seen people with onset dementia ...”

Right. I’d like to see an MRI of Levin’s brain. I have a hunch the image would include an angry squirrel juggling tiny chainsaws. Meanwhile, liberal firebrand Michael Moore, a socialist who has made a capitalist fortune and is hardly a shining example of good health, called Mueller a “frail old man, unable to remember things, stumbling, refusing to answer basic questions.”
One of the only things I truly despise about Western society is the ageism.
Actually, Mueller was clear on what he would and would not answer.
This was not insightful analysis. It was character assassination.
Were there fleeting moments when Mueller seemed like he might make a good spokesperson for Centrum Silver or Starkey Hearing Aids? Sure. Were there times when his one-word answers made me feel a bit sorry for his wife? Yup.
“Bob, how was your day?”
“Fine.”
“I was thinking we could go to Olive Garden tonight?”
“Absolutely.”
So you’re in the mood for pasta?”
“Correct.”
But this fixation on botched spectacle is exactly what’s wrong with politics.
Instead of focusing on what Mueller said, the media got obsessed with the way he said it. His testimony was actually profoundly damaging to the president. But rather that follow the threads from a man who is always above the fray, the media chose to set his suit on fire. Just count the number of times the word “performance” made it into a headline, as if Mueller was on Love Island.
The Washington Post: “On Mueller’s Final Day on the National Stage, a Halting, Faltering Performance.” The New York Times: “Mueller’s Performance Was a Departure From His Much-Fabled Stamina.”
What a disgrace — to the media, not Mr. Mueller.
The truth is, he was never going to be a willing accomplice in any made-for-TV pyrotechnics. Mueller, a man who has devoted most of his 74 years to public service, calls balls and strikes. He does not showboat and speculate on the next pitch. If anything, he deserves credit for disappointing Democrats and Republicans alike.
The Dems, in their protracted fever dream, expected him to fly into that hearing like an Avenger and talk about Trump as if he were Thanos. The GOP, inside their boiling pot of conspiracies, thought they might burn Mueller as a deep-state menace who oversaw a politically motivated witch hunt.
But none of that happened.
Instead, Mueller was concise in his responses and clear in his intent: truth and justice. He did not deviate from his report, which most people have clearly not read. He confirmed facts — sitting president of the United States of America lied to the public and obstructed justice after a foreign adversary interfered with the last election and hopes to do so again — that at any other time in U.S. history would have led to a revolt from sea to shining sea.
But instead of echoing his words and amplifying his message, the media treated his testimony like it was a bunch of silly outtakes from Keeping Up with the Kardashians. They called the hearing a “dud,” “bust” and “letdown.” They tried to frame Mueller as a washed-up celebrity, well past his Best Before date. They trampled on his reputation and bizarrely held him to the standards of a showman.
The media owes Robert Mueller an apology.
But that won’t happen when the search for the next spectacle is already underway.

Because you did say it was true.
Quote:

I repeat: There was NO interference in the last election by Russia. No votes were changed, and there is no evidence - absolutely none - that anyone was swayed by any effort on their part. Again -NONE.

In fact the articles pointed out that the only actual interference was in the swaying or cementing of minds, that for some reason, although the capability was there by Russia, they did not gain access to the actual voting apparatus.
Okay. Please provide the evidence which swayed minds and cemented thinking. You cannot, because there isn't any.

What you did not address was the most important - the blocking of attempts to prevent future attacks. And the obstruction of justice claims. Mueller admitted that Trump had tried to have Mueller himself fired from doing the investigation in which the main focus was on Russian interference.
A bald-faced lie. The President neither obstructed, not did he move to fire Mueller. Some suggested he do so, but he DID NOT. So there was NO obstruction. He complied with every request, submitted thousands of documents, answered questions asked of him when he didn't need to do so. There was NO obstruction, and there was NO collusion. But I understand the Democrazies need to hold on to that fantasy. They have nothing else.

I'm wondering what they are going to run on in 2020. The economy is roaring, millions of jobs have been created, companies are moving back to the States, the stock market reaches new highs every week, Blacks, Hispanics, women and men are prospering at record levels. So what will the Democrazies run on - Vote for us and we'll destroy it all?

They can's say Vote for us and we'll keep it going, because that would mean admitting Trump is doing a good job. That just leaves crazy, or clinging to the lies about Russian interference.

If Trump had kept his mouth shut and not tried to obstruct, people would probably not have thought he was involved.
There is nothing to obstruct because there never was a crime committed. And there is nothing for Congress to block because the Russians can't do anything to change our voting, unless someone is willing to listen to them. The only ones who might do that seem to be the Dem's since they appear to hate America. In that case, it wouldn't be Trump who is colluding/conspiring with the Russians, but the Socialists Democrats. But I'm enjoying the show. I want the crazies to keep it up. It's very entertaining, and I think it will ultimately result in a colossal defeat.

The word interfere means to create a hindrance or obstacle by intervening/intruding or meddling in the affairs of others. The Russians definitely did that.

But authorities do not believe nor did I say it, that Russian hackers tampered with the actual vote count or changed it, which is your narrow usage. You are confusing results with actions, FD.

I saw Mueller himself say "Yes" when asked if Donald Trump tried to get him fired. That alone is obstruction of justice. I think he would know and his patriotism and integrity are beyond reproach. What the US media did to him last week was disgraceful.

I'm not even American and I know that the US executive branch is to be kept separate from the judiciary, same as it is in Canada.

I watched unfold right from day one as Trump violated that principle in public. Trump openly tried to get the DOJ to do his bidding to stop the investigation. He approached DOJ officials and fired them if they did not do his bidding. Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him. Trump said, "I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.” He fired the New York prosecutor Preet Bharara who was looking into Trump's financial affairs. Bharara was asked by Trump to stay on at first but Bharara said that he was dismissed 22 hours after refusing to take a phone call from Trump - a no-no for Trump to even call.

https://youtu.be/rMsmGrlv060 Nadler summed it up in 5 minutes.

Trump now has Barr whose opinions were known beforehand to be sympathetic to Trump.Trump also refused to talk to Mueller over the period of a year and left many questions unanswered. He certainly surrounded himself with a lot of crooks and corruption.

Again - why, as it appears he had nothing to hide, did he try so hard to stop the investigation?

By not mentioning again my point about future actions to prevent interference, you SEEM to approve they do nothing now. The public assumption is that that stance is because it could help Trump again.

If you are so far gone as to dismiss the American intelligence agencies, the Senate and House Intelligence Committees, a direct warning by Obama to Putin, sanctions against Russia, closures of Russian diplomatic facilities and expulsion of their staff, and believe Trump that it was all connected to sour grapes from the election loss, (which btw was three years ago to be using as an excuse) then there is nothing more to be said.

Of course I understand why Trump and supporters would not want to lose their sense of security that Trump won fair and square.

Edited with an afterthought - you do know that Trump is a serial liar? Added up and proven by many people, many times.

Of course there are no stats as to how many people were swayed by the constant barrage of these trolls and Wikileaks with their "but her emails" anymore than you can prove that no one was swayed. But if someone says something often enough, even if is a lie, human nature is to believe it. If not, why do companies spend millions/billions on Superbowl ads or even advertising in general? Just look at how religions spread.

I don't intend to verify all these facts on WiKI about the occurrence of internet interference but some of them are generally known, as is their extent. Since you are not on social media, you may not realize how this is spread so easily and detrimentally.

And much of the disinformation and many lies were picked up by Fox News and Mainstream. They have analyzed by number of mentions how the mainstream media actually discriminated against Hillary.

"The Internet Research Agency, based in Saint Petersburg and described as a troll farm, created thousands of social media accounts that purported to be Americans supporting radical political groups, and planned or promoted events in support of Trump and against Clinton; they reached millions of social media users between 2013 and 2017. Fabricated articles and disinformation were spread from Russian government-controlled media, and promoted on social media. Additionally, computer hackers affiliated with the Russian military intelligence service (GRU) infiltrated information systems of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), and Clinton campaign officials, notably chairman John Podesta, and publicly released stolen files and emails through DCLeaks, Guccifer 2.0 and WikiLeaks during the election campaign. Finally, several individuals connected to Russia contacted various Trump campaign associates, offering business opportunities to the Trump Organization and damaging information on Clinton. Russian government officials have denied involvement in any of the hacks or leaks."

Some Americans think about more than money when voting.

FounDit wrote: "The economy is roaring, millions of jobs have been created, companies are moving back to the States, the stock market reaches new highs every week, Blacks, Hispanics, women and men are prospering at record levels."

These are general statements that need to be updated.

Trump's trade war with China is exacting "a heavy toll on US and global economy".

"The U.S. manufacturing cycle slowed abruptly at the end of 2018 and remains weak at mid-year 2019. Meanwhile the global manufacturing cycle continued to decelerate through May and is approaching recessionary levels. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield has traded below the federal funds rate since May 22, and this inversion of the curve is a hallmark of the late cycle. And some of the economic data for the month of May suggested the labor market and the services sectors may now be decelerating, too."...

Lots of other financial outlook commentaries too.

November 2020 is over a year away. Lots can happen before then.

little donny's economy is the proverbial house of cards. The tax cuts are slowly, but surely bankrupting the government. Trickle down didn't work for Ronny. It didn't work for Kansas. It doesn't work. It's a myth.

Trump has retweeted blaming Hillary.

AG Barr is Trump's appointee, it was under his watch, and Epstein's friend, Donald Trump, allegedly has far more to lose than grandmother Hillary.

#BarrCoverUp is trending.

Tony Schwartz, ghost author of 'The Art of the Deal', has this to say about little donny's rantings...

Conspiracy theory trending now is that it was just a homeless man who looks like Epstein. Some people just can't wait till facts are known and have to speculate or accuse.
