dissemble(v)

I am a very honest man; I don't need to dissemble.

Everytime a politician speaks, you know, they're dissembling.

Boo hoo!

As a layperson I should not be prejudiced as a result of my desire to seek legal advice and get my Notice of Appeal into a comprehensible form.

Helle Porsdam in her book, From Civil to Human Rights: Dialogues on Law and Humanities in the United States and Europe, points out that there is much common ground in the cultural and intellectual heritage that unites Europeans and Americans.

[U]sing transatlantic tensions in the run-up to the Iraq invasion as a departure point, the book sets out to explore Europe as a contested terrain in an effort to ease the tensions on both sides of the Atlantic and quell some of the pent-up anti-American/anti-European feelings.

There is ample evidence in the way that the appellant came to this country and gave evidence about his background that were not found to be remotely credible. I find this good evidence that he can and will dissemble when it suits him.
