What's the main difference between "game" and "match", please?

I googled it but ideas were varied, so I couldn't get a clear idea about it.

It depends on the sport. In tennis it is a big difference because a game is a specific score within the match.
For other sports, they can mean the same.
But game can also mean sport or pastime, and match can't.
Match can mean a lot of other things, though. Whistle

Like so many other examples, sometimes they are interchangeble, and sometimes they're not. It depends on the context.

Thank you.

What do you mean by a "specific score"?

Are you family with the sport of Tennis Atatürk?

A match is split up into sets often 3 or 5 and the players try to win those sets to beat each other.
A set is won by winning games with a set so a player may have a score of 5 games to 3 over his opponent for example.
This might help you.
