John says: Tom cleaned the bedroom and bathroom, but did not wash the dishes.
Margaret replies:
a. I'd told him to wash the dishes, but not to clean the bedroom. He should have done what he didn't do!

The father says: You didn't tidy up your room and cleaned the kitchen instead.
The son replies:
b. Mom had told me to clean the kitchen, but hadn't told me anything about tidying up my room. I didn't have to do what I didn't do.

Are the blue sentences correct in the given contexts?

Many thanks.

Hi!

Individually, the grammar is OK in each. However, they are too long - families just don't have conversations like this (at least, not my family).

It would be more like this:
John says: Tom cleaned the bedroom and bathroom, but didn't wash the dishes.
Margaret replies:
a. I told him to wash the dishes, not clean the bedroom!

The rest is redundant - it is 'stating the obvious'.

The father says: You cleaned the kitchen instead of tidying your room.
The son replies:
b. Mum told me to clean the kitchen, not tidy up my room. I did what she said.

Though the last sentence in yours is not a classic 'double negative' ("I didn't not do it.") it acts like one - you can remove all the negatives and still have the same meaning.

I didn't have to do what I didn't do ≘ I did what I had to.
