dear friends: what does "through gender" mean in " ...she didn't like to talk to women through gender?
If the fixed expression "talk sb through sth" is used, should it be better to say "talk women through the gender?"

No, this isn't to talk someone through something. And gender is not a change, a progression, that you can talk (guide, help) someone to get through.

This is to talk to someone. You can talk to someone over the telephone. It is to communicate.
You can communicate using something - through something. Here what they are using is the concept of gender.

It is not much context, but it sounds like this is the medium you talk through - the channel you use to communicate with the other person.
One woman talking to another woman, using their common gender as way to express ideas.

She does not like saying to women 'we are both female, so you can trust me'. She does not want to use that fact - she would like to treat men and women equally.

But it is hard to tell without a wider context, and it does sound a bit odd.
