Are both the following correct? Any difference in meaning?

If the police catch you speeding, you will have to pay a fine.

If the police catch you speeding, you have to pay fine.

The custom of speaking is the original and only just standard of any language. Joseph Priestly- Rudiments of EG, 1761.

This could be either a general or a future possibility.



If the police catch you speeding, you have to pay a fine.

This is only a general possibility
