I also need further explanation also on a "natural system".

Consider something that you need to do and that can be divided into steps. Such as if you want to cook steak:

Here are step by step instructions:

Quote:
1. In a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat, add olive oil and butter, potatoes, garlic, thyme, rosemary and oregano. Cook for about 3 minutes, stir and cook and additional 3 minutes or until fork tender. Remove and set on a plate.
2. Turn the skillet to high heat. Add the steaks. Cook on each side for 3 minutes or until outside is browned. Reduce heat to medium high. Cook the steaks to desired doneness. Mine took about 10 minutes flipping 3 times to get a medium well.
3. Right before the steaks are done, make the garlic butter compound. Mix the butter, garlic and fresh chopped herbs. Slather on top of steaks. Add the potatoes back to the pan and heat through and let the butter melt into the steaks.

As you can see if you have two skillets you can complete first two steps simultaneously. Otherwise you will have to cook this wonderful steak step by step.

The quote comes from this article:

https://www.nytimes.com/1996/05/28/science/physicists-put-atom-in-2-places-at-once.html

The word "natural" here just means "pertaining to Nature". As I understand it what they are trying to convey is that molecules interact only with the nearest neighbours so that the interaction between distant molecules is a set of steps - interactions between neighbouring molecules:

Personally, I think it's a sort of contradiction to say this and to say that a molecule can be in two different places simultaneously, which their title is about. But, to tell you the truth, I am not very good at physics, especially quantum mechanics.
