Amazing what this guy did! I had heard about it but loved watching the video. He made it look so easy!

The past is to be respected/acknowledged, not worshipped. It is in our future we will find our greatness. Pierre Trudeau

Truly breathtaking. Humanizing. Son of virtuous mother.

Awesome video hope123...thank you so much for sharing, it brought me to tears.
I've shared it with many friends...and his story has gone viral!

Mamoudou gave no thought for himself...he was quoted in saying, "God Helped Me", he personifies what the scriptures say, "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." ~ John 15:13. "Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind... Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others." ~ Philippians 2:3-4

Thank you TMe for your post, yes, Mamoudou Gassamaha''s selfless act was "breathtaking, humanizing and (he is) son of a virtuos mother" and your scripture pict was quite apropos.

A very special thread especially today, Memorial Day, when we are reminded of fallen soldiers and vets in the world, where,
"All gave some and Some gave all." I am reminded of a quote by our former USA President Ronald Reagan, "Freedom isn't Free."

I've read about this but had not actually seen the video. Quite breathtaking. Absolutely love it.
