It is not a "known expression", it's just part of a sentence.

You will need to tell us the whole sentence (preferably the whole paragraph) before anyone can really explain what it means.

Just on its own it makes no sense.
It says that something is a coincidence, but it is not a coincidence.

This is the paragraph

On Calle Bailen (Bailen Street)? asked Falcon. the five-star hotel where all the toreros (matadors) stayed, only fifty meters from his own...from his late father's house-a coincidence without being one.

Hello Gökhan SANCAR
I've been away for a few days, sorry I didn't answer earlier.

I guess, the writer means that it is a coincidence that they are staying in the same street in which Falcon grew up - but it is not a coincidence that they are staying at that particular hotel, it is a popular hotel.

The sentence earlier shows:
1. the five-star hotel where all the toreros (matadors) stayed - so it is not really a coincidence that they're there.
2. only fifty meters from his own...from his late father's house - which is a coincidence.

So the whole description is both a coincidence and not a coincidence.
