I see you're from the Ukraine. So what's the deal with Crimea now? I feel like it's never in the news anymore.

Thanks for joining the petition, David. I hope it may help with curbing Russia.

As for Crimea, it is not in the news probably because the situation with it is not changing in any way. Russia annexed Crimea four years ago and just keeps considering it part of Russia’s territory, in spite of the sanctions. Unlike that, the war that Russia is waging in eastern Ukraine attracts much more attention. However the US Department of State keeps the problem in mind and just a week ago reaffirmed its commitment to Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
