Carnival (Rio de Janeiro)

Carnival (Rio de Janeiro) - hehehe
- Let's the party begin!
- Carnival is a major event in Brazil only paired with News Year Eve! This feast came with the Portuguese people during the Settlement Times and stuck with the Brazilians since the foundation. It represents a larger part of Brazilian culture and a major contributor to Brazilian identity's formation
- In Portugal, it is celebrated throughout the country. The Carnivals in Podence and Lazarim incorporate pagan traditions such as the careto, while the Torres Vedras celebration is probably the most typical.
- The street carnival of Rio de Janeiro is designated by Guinness World Records as the largest carnival in the world, with approximately two million people each day.
