That is the one that has stuck - simple, punchy, memorable.

But the original appears to have been the rather less catchy "Loose lips might sink ships", going by the posters.

- We must work on this project with the maximum discretion because there is a bunch of loose-lips working here that can sink our project.
- The more strategic the project, the more care is necessary to keep the information out of the loose lips.
- In certain places, people with loose lips just won't live long.
