Not often at all that I find anything of value in social media, but this one shows promise.

https://trolltax.org

“Troll Tax” is the brainchild of Seth Callaway, a Brooklyn-based creative consultant. A web app, it allows people to select individual tweets and link them to a donation to organisations that have worked against the Trump agenda: Planned Parenthood, the American Civil Liberties Union, Conservation International and more.

The donor can then use the Troll Tax website to tweet at the troll – letting them know their message has inspired a donation.

An example of how it works:
When you find a troll's post, copy the link into the trolltax.org site and link it to a donation to an agency or program that has been the target of the troll (Planned Parenthood, ACLU, Sierra Club, etc.) then post your response to the troll, saying thank you.

Neat, Proggy. I posted the link on FB and Twitter. I'd love to do it to a White Supremacist here in Ontario and donate to the Liberal Party he denigrates all the time.

Edited - It sounds as if it will it be over after the vote on net neutrality??

It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.

When the conservatives kill net neutrality we won't see the results immediately, but it will lead to a significant increase in passive censorship as corporate interests make it more difficult for consumers to access information that those interests don't want people to see.
