Two years old. Amazed at how he keeps looking at the ball where it was and not where it went. Beautiful swing. This is how it is done.

JJ, These kids show what it is like to learn things as a child! It is so enviable.

That second kid really has an obsession. I also watched a video of Tiger Woods at that age after I watched the video you suggested.

I love watching the swing of any golfer who knows how, as the pros do. It is not as easy as they make it look.

In pétanque you have to concentrate to the place where you want the ball to land down, not to the place where you want it to end after landing.
When you can do this in seven matches in one day, possibly 10 hours, and hundreds of balls thrown, you might win the final game.

JJ, I had to look up what pétanque is. It looks a lot like our lawn bowling or bocce except those are rolling and pétanque is throwing.

Ten hours? If I concentrated for twenty minutes, that might be it. 😀

The longest tournament I was participating, took 16 hours. We lost the final. Outch!

Here we usually play all the Finnish Mastership games in one week, singles, doubles, and tripples. Two days for one game.
Then we play mixed dupples, mixed tripples, association championchips. I wonder when they figure it out to play mixed singles ;-)

Believe it or not. pétanque is a good game.
(I was once in Canada with our women's team in World champs)

Thanks, JJ. I learn something new everyday and this forum helps with that!

If you were in Canada I wonder why I never heard of the game! Although I don't pay much attention to any sports.
